Ted McDonnell – CEO

  • Raised in South America (Brazil), Europe (UK, France) and USA.
  • Spent the last 25 (+) years working in the wine & spirit industry primarily in the Asia/Pacific region.
  • J.E. Seagram & Sons; worked in a number of senior positions. (1986 – 1996)
  • Australia; Seagram’s Sales and Marketing roles. (1987 -1990)
  • Hong Kong/Asia Pacific; Regional Duty Free Division, Marketing & Business Development roles. (1990 – 1993)
  • Micronesia/Marianas; Established Seagram sales & marketing offices. (1993 – 1994)
  • United Kingdom; Chivas Brothers Asia/Pacific Regional Marketing Director. (1994 – 1997)
  • Philippines; Vice President/Board of Premier Wines & Spirits Distribution & Indigo warehousing company. (1996 – 2008).
  • Asia/Pacific: Consultant for Euro Monitor & Canadean. ( 2004 – 2007)
  • Liberty Lighthouse Group LLP established 1999 & Oceanus AP Pte. in 2005 to the present.
  • First to launch Patron Spirits internationally, focusing initially, on the Asia/Pacific region.
  • LLG’s business model became Patron Spirits global model. (2005 – 2011)
  • First 100% Blue Agave Tequila to be approval and launched, Casa Noble, onto Mainland China. (2012)
  • TequilaTotal LLP launched in 2012 with Mexico/America’s Hottest 100% Tequila Brands.
  • Launched KAH 100% Organic Tequila onto the international markets. (2012)

  • The alcohol industry is hedging its investment on the Asia/Pacific for the now and the foreseeable future.
  • The regional demand for the ‘what is the best of the best’ or premium/ultra premium brands offers its brand companies excellent returns.
  •  Over the past 30 years the A/P region has been topping most drinks categories sales globally.
  •  Ever since the Asia Economic Crisis (1997-2000) followed with numerous industry buy outs, consolidations, and mergers, left regional distribution looking for new approach to the spirit categories. In Recent years, a change has come to the Asia Pacific Spirits consumption. Where as the Cognac Houses & Premium Blended Scotch whisky brands use to dominant the sales, today, it’s all about offering a range of Premium & Niche Spirits!
